Week 4 Reflection: RISE Peer Feedback

I find it so interesting how you, Gilbert, went from the United States Army to Media Communications at Full Sail. Although I cannot relate as far as our backgrounds, I do relate in having a family and deciding to go back to school to switch my career path or to enhance my career.

I really like the music you used for your video. It's very elevating and motivational. I also can hear your voice over somewhat in the beginning but at about 30 seconds into the video, the music gets louder and I can no longer hear your voice. After following the story in your video from the graphics alone, I see you are mainly interested in Video Game Storytelling - is that what made you choose Media Communications or are you currently completing both Video Game Design and Media Communications programs? What made you go to Full Sail after the army? I am so curious to hear the rest! 

Have you considered expanding your digital story by diving deeper into the creative storytelling of video games visually? Also, I don't know if you use Adobe Premiere, but there is a really good training video on editing the volume of your audio for both music and voice overs. This helped me lot in controlling the music and my voice over. Since I haven't used the program for very long and don't create videos on a daily basis, I still have to go back to those Lynda.com videos about the tricks to edit volume to refresh my memory. But, it's so helpful to have!
