This activity ties into our professional portfolio and building a brand for ourselves. When creating and building a brand, it is important to stay consistent across the web and all other channels the business will use to communicate. This activity helps us build a style guide that we can follow and when creating for a business, employees and representatives can follow as well.

WK3 Exploration: Team Organization

After viewing the example videos in the Challenge Guidelines, what type of video are you most enthusiastic about producing  (photos with narration, original video production, animated project, etc.)  and why? Content Strategy

The purpose of this activity is to obtain an understanding of effective content development and strategy in order to create a successful user experience online, whether it's on a website, social media or blog posts.   The first point of interest was taking personas further by creating an empathy map to deepen the understanding of a buyer persona by placing them in the context of their surroundings. I feel this is extremely important in conducting this brainstorming phase in order to create content that will resonate with those thoughts, feelings, pains, and gains. The second point of interest is somewhat similar to the empathy map in that it is important to go beyond having the message heard and understood by considering the context of the target audience. Week 4 Synthesis: Curating Through MCBS

As I worked on developing my digital story throughout this month, I found myself referring back to the MCBS Symbaloo several times to access resources to create a better digital story. After this experience, I can see why it's important and extremely helpful as a media creator to curate content in order to create better quality and professional projects whether it's videos, storyboards, presentations, graphics and much more. The assets I curated this month are definitely worth keeping as well as continuing the habit of curating for future classes and projects. It's also helpful as I gain clients and provide them recommendations on resources we can use to execute their projects affordably but with quality.
